Class Descriptions for 2008-2009
Parent's Morning Out (PMO)
DPCC's PMO program is for infants who are at least 9 months old by August 31, 2008 through toddlers turning 2 after that date. Our PMO space has both an infant and toddler area. Up to 15 children may be present in the areas on any given day. The teacher/child ratio is 1 to 3 or 4. You can choose any one day/week or two days/week.
Two-Year Olds (must turn 2 before 9/1/08)
DPCC offers several options for 2 year olds. The Young 2 class (Tuesday/Thursday) is for children turning 2 between 6/1/08 and 8/31/08. The Older 2-year-old classes (for children turning 2 before 6/1/08) are offered for either two days (Tuesday/Thursday) or three days (Monday/Wednesday/Friday). Each group has a lead teacher and an assistant for a class size no larger than 10 children.
Three-Year Olds (must turn 3 before 9/1/08)
DPCC offers 2 day (Tuesday/Thursday), 3 day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), 4 day (Monday through Thursday) and 5 day classes for 3 year olds. Each group has a lead teacher and an assistant for a class no larger than 12 children.
Four-Year Olds (must turn 4 before 9/1/08)
DPCC's 4 year old classes run 4 days (Monday through Thursday) or 5 days a week. Each group has a lead teacher and an assistant teacher for a class no larger than 16 children.
Kindergarten (must turn 5 before 9/1/08)
DPCC's Kindergarten class runs 5 days, from 9:00 a.m. until Noon on Monday/Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 2:15 p.m on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. The Kindergarten class is lead by an experienced teacher with the help of an assistant. The class size is limited to 16.
