Financially Supporting

Friends in Christ,
I invite you to take a few minutes to view the attached video that highlights one of our many
church ministries in the words of someone very engaged in its execution. The theme at DPC
this year is Engage in the Mission of Christ, the Stewardship theme is “Engaging Generosity.” As
you listen to fellow church members share the joy of engagement and the role generosity has
played in their faith walk, I hope you are inspired to consider new ways you might further
Engage in the Mission of Christ.
Enjoy the Journey!
Scott Overcarsh, Stewardship Council
“Let us not love with words or speech, but in action and truth.” I John 3:18

In order to fulfill the mission to which God has called us, the time, talents, and financial resources of all of us will be needed. Important ministries within our congregation, in the greater Decatur community, and with our global partners depend upon our faithful and generous giving.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the below form. There are answer options for each area, just choose the one that best fits your level of interest.

Thank you for supporting the ministry of this church!

This WORSHIP + 3! Commitment Brochure is designed to encourage you to discover not only how God may work in you, nurturing faith, hope, and love, but also how God may work through you over the coming year. Consider activities and ministries that you already enjoy doing, the particular ways in which you are gifted, as well as what sparks your interest. Scripture reminds us that God gives “gifts” to each of us. In the church, we call these spiritual gifts. Spiritual gifts assessments can be found online or we have one available through the church. If you have already taken a spiritual gifts assessment, think back to those results; it may help you find areas of interest and passion. If you have not taken a spiritual gifts assessment, let us know and we will provide one for you.
Tell us what brings you joy!
