At a special called meeting on November 6, the Session of DPC received a specific proposal from the Capital Projects Task Force and Capital Campaign Team related to the scope of projects and amount of the upcoming capital campaign. The Session approved the proposed $4 million campaign which will include the most urgent needs of the Master Concept Plan, including 1) critical repairs to our infrastructure, 2) making our buildings more hospitable by improving their accessibility and function, and 3) relocating and improving ministry areas for our ministries with children and youth.
The Wide Open Doors Campaign will kick off January 8! Watch for more information online and around the church soon.
While several generous leadership gifts and pledges are already being received, the public phase of the campaign will commence in early 2017.
