DPC Hosts Guest Speakers from CTS
Decatur Presbyterian will host guest speakers from Columbia Theological Seminary in the coming months! The church is honored to host four different professors from the seminary to lead adult Sunday School sessions.
The planned schedule for the guest speakers is given below. Click on the professor’s name to find a bio from the CTS website.
- Dr. Stanley Saunders will teach July 9th
- Dr. Raj Nadella will teach July 16th & 23rd
- Dr. William Yoo will teach August 20th, 27th, and September 3rd
- Dr. Mark Douglas will teach September 10th, 17th, and 24th
This summer, DPC’s combined adult Sunday School class explores the Parables of Jesus, from the gospel of Matthew. Professors Saunders and Nadella will teach from the parables in keeping with the theme. Professors Yoo and Douglas will teach on different topics yet to be determined.
All are invited and encouraged to attend these special sessions! The class meets Sundays in the Scott Chapel (entrance on Church St.), beginning at 9:15a.
