Advent is a season in the church that we celebrate during the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas. Advent means coming. During Advent, we remember how people watched and waited for God to come through Jesus. We too, watch and wait for God to come work in our world and in our lives. 

 

At the Advent Festival, we make some special creations that will help us while we wait to remember that we are moving towards the celebration of Jesus’ birth and what a special occasion that is to celebrate. 

We will make crafts to take home, a craft to send to those who cannot get our to church anymore, and an advent wreath for your home.

 

All ages are welcome! The crafts are geared more towards children, but we encourage adults to come and enjoy the festivities, take a bag home for a child in your life, or make some crafts yourself. If you have any questions contact ewilmesherr@dpchurch.org
