Dear Friends at Decatur Presbyterian,

You are Invited to Columbia Seminary! At Columbia, we have started a new program called ColumbiaConnection. The purpose of the program is to get the word out into the community about the work the seminary does to prepare men and women to serve as disciples of Jesus Christ in the local church, in communities and the world. I am inviting you to join me for a one-hour event to meet our new president and to hear and see firsthand how Columbia is going about the work of furthering God’s Kingdom, both near and far. You will not be asked to make a financial contribution, that’s not what this program is about. Pam Cottrell, the program director, will call you right after the event to ask for your advice and feedback which will be used to adjust the content of the program for future events.

The program will start at 8 a.m. sharp and end at 9 a.m. on the dot (a light breakfast will be served before the program begins). It will take place on Columbia’s beautiful campus in the Harrington Center for Life Long Learning. There is ample parking available right next to the center (off of Inman Drive). The Seminary’s address is 701 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30030. I hope I have peaked your curiosity about this wonderful institution that is just minutes from our church. If you are interested in staying after, I would be happy to show you around. It is truly a special, spirit filled place!
