Take the next step against hunger and join us for Hunger Walk Run 2021! DPC will encourage its members to walk in their own neighborhoods, any time during the weekend of March 5-7. 

 

With 1 in 7 Georgians struggling to put food on the table, your support is as urgent as ever. Signing up to join DPC’s team and/or donating to the Hunger Walk through our team page raises money for the Atlanta Community Food bank as well as hunger relief initiatives through churches in the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. 

 

When and where is the walk? The Hunger Walk is “virtual” this year so we are encouraging each of our members to go for a walk in their own neighborhood anytime during the weekend of March 5-7 in a way that is safe for their family instead of gathering as a large group. You could even find a trail or path to walk on as well! 

 

You will get a t-shirt by signing up for the walk, so we encourage you to wear your t-shirt while you walk. Take a picture of you/your family doing the Hunger Walk and share it with us by email or by tagging us on social media!
