Kirkin of the Tartan Sunday Worship Service

We are thrilled to bring you our Kirkin of the Tartans worship service in-person on Sunday, October 25th at 11am. We will gather in the Decatur Library Upper Parking Deck next door to the church for an outdoor service. Registration is limited to 50 families at this time. 

Safety Precautions/Covenant of Expectations for Outdoor Worship 10/25/20

You are the best person to discern for yourself whether it is the right time for you to attend an outdoor in-person gathering. As a covenant community, choosing to attend an outdoor service means you are choosing to love your neighbor as you love yourself by participating fully in the rules for an outdoor service. 

• Attendees MUST pre-register in order to attend
• 50 household MAX
• Social distancing >6ft maintained at all times between individuals not in the same household
• Masks will be worn at all times for everyone >2 years old (If young children have a difficulty with social distancing, we encourage you to bring a stroller or carrier.)
• Each attendee will bring their own folding chair 
• You should not attend if you or someone in your household have known exposure to COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms, or are awaiting test results 
• Those in high risk populations are encourage not to attend but may discern what is best for them
• Worship will be held on the upper deck of the Decatur Public Library 
• Attendees will park on the lower deck of the Decatur Public Library
• A few parking spaces on the upper deck will be available to those with mobility issues, please notify greeter upon arrival
• Ushers will greet each car upon arrival, temperatures will be checked and attendance recorded
• Greeters will be stationed at both stairwells leading from the lower deck to the upper deck
• Greeters will seat household groups in an assigned circle which will be marked in the parking lot
• Once seated in a circle, you will remain in that space for the entirety of the service until your household is dismissed
• Restrooms are available only in an emergency situation
• The worship leaders will maintain a 12ft distance from worshipers
• Whatever you bring into worship must be taken with you when you leave
