Mission Trip for Hurricane Relief
January 16, 2020 @ 8:00 am - February 1, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
All you who love mission trips or who simply enjoy helping others in need:
Join Todd Speed, members of our congregation, and friends from other local Presbyterian Churches for Hurricane Michael Relief in North Florida on Presidents Day weekend.
We will leave on Friday, February 14 and use Dogwood Acres, a presbytery camp in Chipley, Florida as our base camp as we travel to homes on Saturday and Sunday to work with Presbytery Disaster Assistance leaders on such projects as roofing, decks, and handicap ramps. We will return home on Monday, Feb 17.
THE NEEDS ARE STILL GREAT – PDA (Presbyterian Disaster Assistance) is still on the ground in Florida these many months later helping people get their lives back in order, and they need our help.
ALL WORK ABILITIES and skills are welcome, including contractors, handymen, general helpers, Habitat volunteers, kitchen and cleaning crews, etc.
COST is $50/day for lodging and meals. Scholarships ARE available. Please do not allow the cost to keep you from participating.
ALL AGES are welcome – older adults, younger adults, college, youth, and older elementary children all can participate. Those under 18 will need to be supervised by their parents.
WE NEED TO KNOW who is going soon in order to plan meals and housing.
REGISTER TODAY by emailing Todd Speed (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the following information:
Name(s) and include ages for any youth or children:
Prefer to drive or catch a ride with others?
Mission Trip skill level – Expert, Experienced worker/helper, or Novice?

THANK YOU for helping!
