The Confirmation Class of 2019 invites you to participate in an intergenerational service event! We will be packing meals for Rise Against Hunger, an organization that supports school feeding programs (and more!) around the world. Learn more about Rise Against Hunger here: riseagainsthunger.org

When: Sunday, March 3rd from 11:45am-1:30pm

The event will occur right after worship with a simple lunch in the parlor and the meal packing event will occur in the Fellowship hall from 12:30-1:30pm.

Who: All ages are welcome to participate. The meal packing is open to ages 5yrs and up. Childcare will be provided for those 4 years old and younger during the meal packing event. Invite a friend!  This is a great event for the whole DPC family.  There will be jobs for all ages and abilities. 

The Goal: 10,152 meals packed in 1 hour! 

The Need: 100 volunteers & $3,451.69 fundraised in order to pack the meals and support the cost of the meals and their delivery.

Everyone participating needs to sign up online which includes a waiver form through Rise Against Hunger. Be sure to include the total number from your family who will participate.

Sign up to bring a Crock-Pot of soup, a loaf of bread or dessert. We will be providing a simple lunch of soup, bread and cookies on March 3 for our 100 volunteers.
