Leadership Atlanta, Ta-Nehisi Coates & DPC to Talk Race
Leadership Atlanta is hosting keynote speaker Ta-Nehisi Coates, an acclaimed author on civil rights, to an event entitled “A Conversation About Race in America” on Oct. 19th at 6:45 PM. The next week, on Oct. 27, DPC will host a corresponding “Community Conversation” event in the Fellowship Hall for ticketholders who attended the keynote event. This Community Conversation will discuss “How can local congregations become more helpful regarding issues of race in our community?”
The keynote event with Ta-Nehisi Coates is open to the public. General Admission tickets went on sale Aug. 4th and quickly sold out. However, there is still an opportunity to participate!
Overflow seating for the event is available for $15/seat. Seating will go quickly. Those interested in attending BOTH the keynote event with Ta-Nehisi Coates and the Community Conversation to be held at DPC on Oct. 27 are encouraged to purchase tickets quickly!
