The Crusaders Class, which has been meeting for over 60 years, meets in the Parlor Classroom at 9:15am. The relationships of these class members have inspired our congregation for generations. Excellent, engaging teachers lead this lecture-style class.
The Cornerstone Class, ably led by Dave and Dina Williams, has a broad and interesting discussion curriculum with a hybrid option for those who are not available to meet in person. This class meets in the Session Room at 9:00am.
The Friendship Class meets online by Zoom at 8:45am. The group follows the weekly worship scripture and themes. This has been a helpful option for many who have been physically unable to attend, either due to health or geographic location.
The Family Class
9:30-10:15 am: The Family Class is a new class for both parents and their children which will meet downstairs on the Children’s Hall at 9:30am for fellowship and a Bible story, then split into a parents’ discussion time while the children engage in their own age-appropriate activities.
Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.
Worship is the heartbeat of Decatur Presbyterian Church, the most important hour of the week. In worship, we offer praise, receive forgiveness, listen to God’s Word, pray for the needs of the world, and offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God.
The mission of DPC is to share Jesus Christ's love for the world.
Founded in 1825, Decatur Presbyterian Church has contributed in numerous ways to the cultural development of Decatur over nearly two centuries, transforming Decatur from a tiny frontier settlement to building the foundations of the city we live in today.
