Decatur Presbyterian Church will make an eleven-day pilgrimage to Scotland in June 2018. Scotland is one of the most engaging places in the world and was foundational in the creation of Presbyterianism. The itinerary for the trip includes castles and cathedrals, islands and moors, sheep farms and gardens, daily devotions and personal time, with options for sampling local establishments and playing golf. Names like Perth and Iona, Loch Lomond and Tobermary, Edinburgh and St. Andrews will become familiar and well-known.
Costs will include four star accommodations with private baths, transportation and licensed guide, daily meals, and many entrances and admissions. $1000 deposit per person will reserve your place. Space is limited.
Contact Tricia Wynegar (t.wynegar@me.com) or Todd Speed (tspeed@dpchurch.org) for more information.
Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.
Worship is the heartbeat of Decatur Presbyterian Church, the most important hour of the week. In worship, we offer praise, receive forgiveness, listen to God’s Word, pray for the needs of the world, and offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God.
The mission of DPC is to share Jesus Christ's love for the world.
Founded in 1825, Decatur Presbyterian Church has contributed in numerous ways to the cultural development of Decatur over nearly two centuries, transforming Decatur from a tiny frontier settlement to building the foundations of the city we live in today.
