Welcome to the DPC Youth virtual Sycamore House! Lounge on the beanbags and take some time to relax and be with God each week. You can take a book off the shelf to read a scripture or a devotion. If you aren’t sure where to start in the Bible, try the Psalms and see if you find feelings that resonate with you or read about the story of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. You can access a prayer playlist, a mindfulness app and the 21 day Race and Justice challenge for youth on our bulletin board. Grab a colored pencil and color your prayers or light a candle to check out the many different ways you can pray and talk with God.
The cross will lead you to DPC’s YouTube channel where you can worship with your church family.
Come take a break in the Sycamore House each week, you belong here!
See weekly email for the most up-to-date information.
Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.
Worship is the heartbeat of Decatur Presbyterian Church, the most important hour of the week. In worship, we offer praise, receive forgiveness, listen to God’s Word, pray for the needs of the world, and offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God.
The mission of DPC is to share Jesus Christ's love for the world.
Founded in 1825, Decatur Presbyterian Church has contributed in numerous ways to the cultural development of Decatur over nearly two centuries, transforming Decatur from a tiny frontier settlement to building the foundations of the city we live in today.
