The U.S. Congregational Vitality survey, created through a collaboration between sociologists, theologians, and Christian educators in the Presbyterian Church (USA), has been designed to help us understand the attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of our worshipers, leaders, and other participants. Since 2001, some 500,000 worshipers across 5,000 congregations from varying denominations have taken some version of this survey.
This is not a test. There are no right or wrong answers. The purpose is to measure how you believe DPC is doing on the seven marks of congregational vitality—discipleship, outward focus, evangelism, servant leadership, worship, caring relationships, and ecclesial health.
Please complete the assessment as soon as you are able, but no later than September 13. It generally takes less than 15 minutes to complete the survey. If you have any questions about the survey or any challenges connecting to the survey questions, please call (404-378-1777) or email Denise Howell (dhowell@dpchurch.org).
Thank you sincerely for participating in this project.
